Feather development begins around 4-6 weeks of age. One notable advantage of the Pioneer Broiler is it's excellent color sexing capabilities. Male broilers typically exhibit white feathers, while females display a mix of red, brown, and white feathers. At around 7 weeks of age, you'll observe an increase in muscle mass, contributing to stronger legs, improved joint health, and better gait.
